ASIAN LAMB LOLLIPOPS

Serves 2 | Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 25 mins | ★★★★★ AVG. REVIEW

Asian lamb lollipops are a tantalizing and flavorful dish that combines succulent lamb chops with a delectable Asian-inspired marinade. The lamb chops are marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and Chinese five-spice powder, which infuses them with a harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and aromatic flavors. The marinade not only enhances the taste of the lamb but also helps tenderize the meat, resulting in juicy and tender lamb chops. The combination of soy sauce and hoisin sauce adds a rich umami depth, while honey brings a touch of sweetness.

PREPARATION AND COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Total Time: 40 Mins
In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and seasonings. This will be the marinade for the lamb.
Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the lamb chops, making sure they are well coated. Marinate the lamb in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
Chop or slice peppers, onions and other veggies. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the lamb chops from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.
Brush the lamb chops with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the lamb chops on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
While grilling, brush the lamb chops with the reserved marinade occasionally for extra flavor.
Once cooked to your liking, remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
Transfer the lamb chops to a serving platter and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
Serve with white rice, and other steamed veggies of your liking.
